School Spirit Fundraisers

Wanna rouse your students and get them excited in school events? Well, you’re gonna need some of that old school spirit! No need to worry about where to get some - you’re going to be fundraising anyway, so you can spice up your fundraising campaign with school spirit fundraisers.

Sell local discount cards.

Sell local discount cards with your group, and your supporters will profit at the same time you do. Local discount cards are discount cards - filled with 10 discounts from local merchants you’ve chosen - that your group members can sell at a reasonable price to your supporters.

Local discount cards are great, not only because everyone likes the opportunity to save money but because - more importantly - they’re going to be spending money anyway, regardless of whether or not they have these cards. The coupons are unlimited for a year - so every time your supporters have to spend money with the cards, they'll be able to reap the benefits often.

Sell Ten @ Ten snack packs.

Sell our Ten @ Ten snack packs for a hefty profit! These tasty treats, which come in the 10 snack pack flavors where which have sold the best, include Gummi Bears and Chocolate-Covered Peanuts as well as 8 other delectable packs. Your supporters will waste no time snatching them up - the standard pack costs $6.50, and the family size costs only $10.

Hold a day of field games.

Field games - like the wheelbarrow race, egg and spoon race, relay race, sack race, and the ever-popular three-legged race - have remained a staple of school games for decades now, so they could make for a great school spirit fundraiser. Use them for a fundraiser; your supporters will have fun and learn teamwork at the same time!

Hold a duck race.

No matter how old your students are, they'll enjoy watching a horde of plastic ducks swarm en masse down a river in a furious race to the shore. A week before the event, have misbehaving students mark numbers on the ducks with indelible ink while they’re in detention. For the event, place roadblocks in the river - speed bumps, large rocks, plastic toys anchored to the shore, “ducks crossing” signs. After the race, crown the winner’s owner with a wacky duck hat.

Host a battle of the bands.

Rock it old-school with a battle of the bands. Have your group members contact people who they know are in bands (a surprisingly high number of teenagers are part of bands, so it’s not as hard as it sounds) to play with - and against - each other in a battle of the bands. Have the bands compete against each other by playing the same songs (this works especially well if the bands are of different genres: imagine “All My Lovin’” in the style of the Beatles competing against a cappella, classical, techno and heavy metal versions); playing their own original music; and trying to outplay each other while onstage at the same time.

Gather up some of that good ol’ school spirit with our fundraising ideas: you can sell Local Discount Cards and snack packs, hold a day of field games and a duck race, and host a battle of the bands. So go on—channel some of the energy you want your students to have and get started with one of our school spirit fundraisers!
