“What can we say about this team? … This is a great group of boys that are led by strong role models in our community (coaches: Steve, Pete and John). The boys/players not only work hard as players but also in their communities. The coach earlier on, challenged them all to be heroes in their communities and all of our boys blew us away with what they did (donations to shelters, helped at nursing homes, donated their paper route money to charities with great causes etc). If you get to know each one of the boys, they each have a special quality they add to the team. They participate whenever they can in fundraising or bringing awareness to others.
Our hockey team is working hard to raise funds which will be used 100% towards the team, specifically for team building, team tournaments and uniting these boys even more.
