My mother and I both are cancer survivors. She is the lady in front of me and I have tried taking care of her for over twenty years. She is currently a 32 year Ovarian cancer survivor and a 23 year Breast cancer survivor. I am a 12 year Melanoma cancer survivor. This year our Relay For Life team became a sponsor of our event as some of our members of our team have succumbed to cancer in the last few years and we have two that are not in good health with one of them battling a rare type of leukemia. We hope and pray that we win this award, it would be our honor.
