| Scratch Cards are the newest fundraising craze. At 90% profit, they're
twice as profitable as candy bars, without the hassle!
Fundraising is something I don't like to spend too much time on and I
found Scratch Cards didn't take much time or effort. With 40 players we
raised $3,300. We'll definitely use Scratch Cards again next year.

| Honoree: The Boosters at Bassett High School |

| I met Mrs. Rivas when I was 14 years old, she was the
mother of one of my good friends. When I entered high school I would learn
about the boosters, which she happened to be President of. The booster club
is a group of teachers, coaches, and parents that fundraise money to help
out the school. They sell at a firework stand, they started a swapmeet at
our school, and sell at the snack shop during football games, and they fundraise
so much more. They are always there to lend a hand when you need it. My
class (the class of 2003) has always had a financial problem and whenever
we would ask them for help they would be there without a second thought.
These men and women work extremely hard to help the school, without having
to. The help teams get uniforms, dances, clubs, and several grades. They
are always there for us. This organization is group of people that help
improve our school. We all love them very much and are extremely thankful
of them.

| Team Sells Small Pops to Raise Big Bucks! |

As the beginning of September rolled around, the Millennium Softball
team out of Mohnton, PA realized that they needed funds… and they
needed them fast! The players wanted to buy brand new uniforms and be
able to cover upcoming travel expenses. A total of $1,500 was needed…could
this be raised this by selling lollipops?! Believe it or not, they
raised $1,872 net profit with only 12 players, and the money is
still rolling in. Coach Mark Jenkins said, "This is the third time
I'm ordering; they're super easy sellers and people keep coming back for
more!"

| $4500 Raised for Mission's Trip! |

This fundraising experience turned into a learning
and sharing experience for children that they'll remember forever: "We
gathered 29 anxious kids from our school to participate in the Scratch
& Help program. We ordered 50 scratch cards and made a total of $4500
profit. It was very easy and a lot of fun. The money raised helped us
go on a Mission's trip to Guerrero, Mexico in the providence of Chihuahua.
It was an incredible experience. The girls were able to put together two
thousand scriptures. The boys learned how to make concrete blocks and
put together a total of 700 blocks to help build a home. In the evenings,
the children visited villages up on the mountains that don't even exist
on the map. Here, they were able to pass out scriptures to all the Mexicans.
Next year, our school would like to get the entire school to participate
in the Scratch & Help program. Thank you so much." David Goldsberry
